Indian Navy states a customised monthly package of ₹30,000 in the first year, ₹33,000 in the second year, ₹36,500 in the third year and ₹40,000 in the fourth year. The official in-hand component is 70% of the package, with 30% contributed to the Agniveer Corpus Fund and a matching Government contribution.
On completion of four years, the Seva Nidhi package is ₹10.04 lakh. Candidates should also note that Agniveers are not entitled to gratuity or pension for the engagement period.
The selection starts with Stage I INET 2/2026, a computer-based test with separate exams for Engineering and Electrical entries. Shortlisted candidates move to Stage II, which includes Physical Fitness Test, written examination and recruitment medical examination.
