What is SSC? The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a central government body under the Ministry of Personnel that recruits for Group B and Group C posts across multiple central ministries, departments and organizations. SSC conducts some of India's most competitive exams with lakhs of applicants every year.
Key SSC Exams: SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) for Inspector, Auditor, Tax Assistant posts — requires graduation. SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) for LDC/DEO posts — requires 12th pass.
