Salary Structure and Allowances

During the training period, candidates selected for trainee positions receive a monthly stipend:

  • SUPT Training (12 months): ₹12,000 per month
  • JOT Training (First 12 months): ₹15,000 per month
  • JOT Training (Remaining period): ₹15,500 per month

Upon regular placement in T0 Grade, the pay scale is ₹29,500 – 3% – ₹70,000. Junior Foreman posts in S0 Grade are placed in the pay scale of ₹36,500 – 3% – ₹1,15,000. Allowances include site location allowance, transport allowance, HRA, medical benefits (CHSS), provident fund, and gratuity as per company rules.

Selection Criteria

The selection process comprises the following stages:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): A 120-minute online examination containing 100 objective questions. 60% of the questions cover domain-specific technical fields and 40% cover general aptitude, reasoning, English, and general knowledge. There is no negative marking.
  2. Trade Test: For select posts (HEMM Operator, Mining Mate, Junior Foreman, Technician, etc.), a trade test with 40% weightage is conducted. SUPT(JOT) positions are selected purely on CBT merit (100% weightage).
  3. Document Verification: Review of original certificates, category proof, and licenses.
  4. Pre-employment Medical Examination (PEME): Medical fitness clearance before final induction.
