Renesas Electronics is hiring a Senior Staff Systems & Applications Engineer (Hardware Application) in Bengaluru. What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with product line teams to develop evaluation board validation and characterization plans.

- Create and maintain test automation scripts for PMBus telemetry and control validation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve hardware, firmware, and silicon issues related to switching and linear converters.
- Develop application notes, reference designs, and calculations for telecom and server power architectures.
- Interface with internal sales/marketing teams and directly support customers with product usage questions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Masters (M.E. / M.Tech) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in power electronics, switching regulators, and control theory.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the PMBus protocol, power integrity analysis, and simulation tools (Simplis, PSpice, MATLAB).
- Lab Skills: Proficient with schematic design/PCB layouts and laboratory tools (oscilloscopes, bode/power/spectrum analyzers).
